QUEENSLAND MUSIC FESTIVAL with James Morrison
This July, Queensland Music Festival will celebrate the centenary of ANZAC with a series of free concerts in Townsville and Brisbane featuring local musicians, Australian Defence Force bands and Germany’s acclaimed Saxon Wind Philharmonic. The world premiere series, One Hundred and One Years, is dedicated to courageous Queenslanders who fought in all wars and pays tribute to those who gave their lives in service. The open-air concerts will put a spotlight on young actors and musicians, including a specially formed 30-piece community ensemble and a large group of narrators comprising of locals in each city.
